The Ethiopian Railways Corporation’s Social Committee celebrated the annual “Railway Community Day” on September2, 2025 (Nehase 27, 2017 E.C.) in connection with the upcoming Ethiopian New Year, as an annual employee event.

September3, 2025 /ERC/ The CEO of the Corporation, eng.Helina Belachew, conveyed a message highlighting the corporation’s achievements during the concluded fiscal year, including: The commencement of new construction projects, The acquisition of licenses for logistics and training railway academy, and Significant results recorded in other operational areas.

eng.Helina Belachew emphasized that with continued dedication, the corporation is expected to reach at greater  achievement  in the coming year. During the celebration; The 2017 E.C. fiscal year report, the 2018 E.C. budget year plan, and an article titled “ ERC ‘s achievement and next plan” were presented.

In addition gifts were presented to children supported by the corporation’s employees, as well as honorable gifts were awarded to the corporation’s employees who retired and resigned voluntarily.
