The Ethiopian Railway Corporation conducted an Integrated Management System (IMS) awareness training at its headquarters to support the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. The training, delivered by Mr. Yalem Birhan, a consultant from Qualitek System Consultancy PLC, covered process-based management, risk and opportunity management, document control, KPI monitoring and corrective actions.
Mr. Tadele Dagefa, the Corporation’s IMS Project Coordinator, said the training would help participants translate their knowledge into practice and strengthen the Corporation’s journey toward ISO certification. Participants also noted that the training provided practical guidance on IMS, process approach and risk management.
